Chalet Italia
Cassiopea Productions’ mission is to create new concepts and marketing activities to promote skisports.
Following this scope, at the beginning of the year 2009 Cassiopea and the National Ski Association F.I.S.I. have started a fruitful collaboration to create e new brand from scratch book to realisation: Chalet Italia.
The objective of this marketing idea is to offer a meeting point for athletes, officials, sponsors, opinion leaders and media wheresoever main skiing events are being held, and by this means promote the dialogue between all important winter sports stakeholders and create a forum for PR activities of the Italian Winter sports Federation.
Cassiopea was asked to develop the hospitality concept for each location and secure the smooth and successful operation.
In January 2009 launch of the project was on occasion of the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships Val D’Isère, France, followed by the FIS Nordic Ski World Championships Liberec, Czech Republic. Then with same success the project continued in 2011 at the FIS Ski Championships in Germany and Norway (Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Oslo). There were served more than 14.000 guests during 56 days of operation.
In winter 2011/2012 – a season without any FIS World Championships, Chalet Italia had multistage presence at Sölden, Bormio, Mailand, Cortina, Schladming and hosted two evenings at the 1st ever held Youth Olympic Winter Games in Austria (Innsbruck).
For the winter season 2012/2013 it is planned the stop at some of the very classical FIS Ski World Cup events. Moreover Chalet Italia will be present at the upcoming FIS World Ski Championships in Schladming (Austria) and Val di Fiemme (Italy) for a period of two weeks each.
Chalet Italia by Cassiopea Productions has already gained considerable brand awareness throughout the ski sports world. Nonetheless we strive for more, and we are looking forward to welcoming „ski friends“ from all over the world in the upcoming seasons.
